Welcome to Victoria Primary School PTA
The PTA is wholly run by a group of volunteers, with the aim of creating fun events for the parents, staff and children of Victoria Primary School. Some of the events, such as the Christmas and Summer Fayres, are essentially to raise money. However many events, like Bingo Night, Family Fun Run and the Quiz Night, are a chance to bring together the school community and for the enjoyment of the children. Last academic year, thanks to all the help and support of the staff, parents and children, the PTA raised an incredible £20,000!
There is no need to join the PTA, as a parent or carer of a child at the school (or as a member of staff) you are automatically a member. There are lots of different ways to get involved; you could attend events, contribute donations, come along to meetings, help out for the odd 30 minutes here and there or even take on organising an event - all support at any level is really appreciated. We are also always looking for prizes for our raffles - if you own a business, work for a company or have contacts for people you think would be willing to donate please let us know.
